When the owner is outside Ukraine
A sale is possible without a long stay in Ukraine
Many Ukrainian citizens living abroad need to sell property that remains in Ukraine. The owner may be unable to travel personally or stay in the country for the weeks or months a conventional sale can require.
Obtaining missing documents, settling debts, removing arrests or encumbrances, finding a buyer and arranging the transaction all take time. We offer several approaches depending on the documents, the property and the owner’s circumstances.

Receiving the proceeds
Bank settlement and money transfer
If necessary, opening an account in Ukraine and crediting the proceeds when the sale agreement is signed can be considered. The exact settlement and onward transfer method is agreed with the owner, notary and bank in advance.
Remote account opening depends on the selected bank, client identification and financial-monitoring requirements.
